About this Workspace

This workspace has been provided for grade level PLC's GRADE LEVEL teams to construct curriculum development initiatives, lesson planning integration webs and the creation of nine week SMART goals. Once these spaces become available you will be able to post organizational comments about grade level PLC's meeting ideas. The individual grade level work space is also a means for PLC leaders to coordinate events, which should include material selection and data driven decision making strategies. Please use the posting features on this page to coordinate your meetings and for your team members to share ideas.

Guidelines for August and September PLC Grade Level Meetings

Wednesday's grade level PLC's will include validation of mastery checks which are due on Friday August 28, 2010. Additionally if time is provided PLC groups should look at lesson plan design template for the incorporation of essential indicators into a weekly lesson plan. Our hopes are to post these lesson plan templates for others to view as we correlate our lessons to match the essential indicators. The following week PLC groups will be starting their Data Analysis Activity Worksheet that will lead in the establishment of subject SMART goals for student performance for the first mastery check and designing lesson plans. Individual PLC nine weeks SMART Goals should be posted or submitted by Friday September 10, 2010. When validating mastery checks Mr. Springston has asked us to complete the following steps.

  • Check to see if all questions on the mastery check are complete in FileMaker Pro
  • Check for accuracy; is the question written at the correct level of complexity and difficulty? (Depth of Knowledge)
  • Check in File Maker Pro to see to ensure that all answers are correct and that the correct answer has been provided.
